The goals of this session were to:

2. Learn about mini forests and tree best management practices - with guest Chris Rosa (City of Malden Tree Warden)
2. Hear from you! Please bring any tree-related questions, comments, or discussion points for the City of Lynn. This can include New Tree Requests for Spring 2025, questions about newly-planted trees, or more!

(2) Discuss next steps for forming this advisory group, which will be a great way to collaborate as we craft Lynn’s first Urban Forest Plan

We hosted a Lynn Tree Committee Information Session on Thursday, September 19, 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm online via Zoom. This virtual meeting was recorded, and both the recording and presentation slides are posted here. The goals of this session were to: (1) review the results of the Lynn Tree Committee Interest Form, which was open 8/5/2024 – 9/13/2024, and which resulted in a fantastic collection of ideas for forming the committee, and (2) discuss next steps and a timeline for forming this advisory group, which will be a great way to collaborate as we craft Lynn’s first Urban Forest Plan.
