Next Meeting
We are excited to invite you to our third Lynn Tree Committee session on Thursday, November 21, 6:00 pm online via Zoom. Please feel free to share with others who may be interested to attend – meetings are open to the public.
The goals of this session are to:
- Review current urban forestry efforts in Lynn (Fall 2024 planting season, tree inventory progress, and community engagement)
- Here from you! Please bring any tree-related questions, comments, or discussion points for the City of Lynn. This can include New Tree Requests for Spring 2025, questions about newly-planted trees, how we might move our projects forward, or more!
This virtual meeting will be recorded, and both the recording and presentation slides will be posted on the urban forestry website after the session takes place. This meeting will take place in English, but if you need live interpretation for this meeting, please reach out to eholm@lynnma.gov.
What is a Tree Committee?
A Tree Committee is a local citizen-led group that works with public officials to improve the health of the urban forest (trees in the city) through advocacy, education, management, plantings, and/or maintenance activities. Not every municipality has one, and in those that do, they can be set up differently.
