Project Goals
The City requested the demolition of the clubhouse, new playground equipment and splash pad, and outside track, an irrigation system, and renovation of existing bathroom facilities. The budget was targeted at $5M.
Possible Concept
The designers considered multiple layouts to accommodate the scope of work, but ultimately decided to move forward with Concept A. Concept A includes ballfield drainage improvements, irrigation on all turf areas, a 3/4-mile track, the demolition of existing fence, playground improvements, a splash pad, a restroom and picnic area, treework, and new furnishings.
