    The Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources (MDAR) confirmed that the City of Lynn has an infestation of spotted lanternfly (Lycorma delicatula) as of fall 2024. You can view a map of the known infestations of spotted lanternfly across the state on the MDAR Invasive Pest Dashboard.





    MDAR has developed a new series of videos to explain to the public what impacts this pest is expected to have, how to identify it, how to check your vehicles to avoid spreading it, and how to manage it if it is on your property.
